Job Description

We are seeking a PGT History Teacher for the upcoming session 2025-26. The candidate will be responsible for teaching History to senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12) while ensuring high academic standards in line with CBSE guidelines. Teach History to students of Grades 11 & 12 as per the CBSE curriculum. Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to enhance student understanding. Encourage students to develop analytical and critical thinking skills in historical contexts. Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to make history engaging. Prepare students for CBSE board examinations by conducting regular assessments and practice tests. Organize and participate in educational trips, debates, and history-related events. Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects and academic planning. Maintain student records, assess progress, and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Skills Required: Strong knowledge of Indian and World History as per the CBSE syllabus. Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills. Ability to conduct discussions, debates, and historical analysis sessions. Effective communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with CBSE examination patterns and assessment methods.
