Job Description

DAILY WORK PROFILE PDI Inspection 2- Sample Preparation 3- Inspection of incoming RM 4- Testing of Chemical & Mechanical properties of steel in Quality lab. 5-Report generation and review. 6-NABL /IMS documents maintaining. 7-Quality inspection (Pre dispatch Inspection). 8- Knowledge of ISO17025, & relevant standard like IS1608, ASTME415, IS1599, IS2062 etc. 9-Knowledge of Galvanizing 10-Knowledge of NDT KEY RESPONSIBLITIES - To study different steel structure's drawings and documents. - Must have knowledge of drafting in layers and setting of sheet layout. - Update drawing and documents with addressing revision done. - Work with the engineering team to finish work within the specified deadline. - Sound technical knowledge, through knowledge of all related codes and section details, in-depth and detailed checking of jobs before delivery. - Checking shop drawings and preparing BOQ before issue for our production line. - Ensure delivery of error free jobs to clients. Key Requirements:- - Should have experience in the Steel Fabrication/Manufacturing/Architecture industry. - Should have hands-on experience in drafting different structures. - Knowledge of 3D Modeling Tools like Revit is desirable. - Hands-on experience in drafting of structures of Steel/RCC would be preferred. - Should be proficient in using computer software like MS Office (Excel & Word). - Should have experience of structural steel and AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla Structures.
