JOB DESCRIPTION- - We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the costs associated with our projects in electrical panels, industrial transformers, and AMF panels. The Cost Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. - Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects involving electrical panels, industrial transformers, and AMF panels. - Budget Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and reported. - Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budget. - Vendor Management: Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure cost-effective procurement of materials and services. - Risk Analysis: Identify potential cost risks and provide recommendations for mitigation. - Reporting: Generate regular financial reports, including cost forecasts and variance analysis, for project stakeholders. - Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align cost management with project goals. - Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance cost efficiency and project profitability.
